Our family has been at Challenger School – Strawberry Park for many years, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We highly recommend it for three main reasons: 1. Academic Excellence: The curriculum is exceptionally strong. When it came time for SSAT, ISEE, and HSPT entrance exams for private high schools, our child required no extra preparation and achieved perfect scores. Furthermore, the foundation built here allowed for placement into the highest-level high school classes. 2. Well-Rounded Curriculum: Beyond core subjects, the inclusion of logic, economics, art, music, speech and debate, and computer science provides a truly 'nutritious' education that develops the whole child. 3. Dedicated Staff: The teachers and administrators are professional, friendly, and deeply responsible. We especially appreciate the warm greetings during drop-off and pick-up, which make the school feel like a true community."

Our son started his education at Challenger School in Pre-K. After he finished Pre-K, we won the lottery for a spot in our local Top public school, so he moved there for his Kindergarten year. However, based on our son's own request and preference, we decided to bring him back to Challenger for 1st Grade. The fact that he specifically asked to return says a lot about how he feels about the school environment. There are a few key aspects of the school that we find very effective: 1. Rigorous English Curriculum: The language arts program is very solid. In the Literature class, students read and analyze 10+ books per semester. The level of close reading and comprehension required is impressive, and it provides a great amount of reading volume that is hard to find elsewhere. 2. Structured Learning: The school emphasizes discipline and a consistent routine. We find the weekly quizzes very helpful, as they allow us to monitor his progress and ensure he is staying on track with the material. 3. Parental Peace of Mind: Because the curriculum is so well-organized and the expectations are clear, it makes the educational process much more manageable for us as parents. We feel confident that he is building a strong academic foundation. Overall, we are very satisfied with our decision to return to Challenger. It is a great fit for families who value academic discipline and a thorough approach to core subjects.

The learning environment at Challenger School is top-notch, and we’ve seen so much growth in our daughter. Huge shoutout to Ms. Datta and Ms. Taggarsi! They are incredible kindergarten teachers who truly give each child personal attention. My daughter transferred to this campus and bonded with them immediately. I’m especially impressed by how much she loves her schoolwork and homework now, the way they teach clearly makes learning fun for her. They strike that perfect balance of being firm and disciplined while still being super nurturing. We feel so lucky to have such special teachers!

My son joined the Kindergarten program at Challenger Strawberry Park mid year because he wanted more learning challenges. I am deeply grateful to the program director, Ms. Candy, and his teachers, Ms. Mittal and Ms. Bhattacharyya, for the care and support they provided to make his transition so smooth and successful. Since enrolling at Challenger, he has begun sharing so much more about his day--singing the songs he practiced in class, running the classroom games at the dinner table with his brothers, and proudly showing his new skills. The most remarkable change has been in his reading. Previously, he would turn to us for help whenever he saw an unfamiliar word. Now, using what he learned at school, he confidently works through even the trickier ones on his own. His progress has been truly impressive, and we couldn't be happier seeing not only his growth but also how much he loves going to school.

My daughter transferred to Challenger Strawberry Park at the end of second grade, and it has been a wonderful experience for her. Ms Nguyen, Ms. Zhang, Ms. Sathya and all the teachers and staffs are very capable and patient. During her time there, the school provides an outstanding foundation in English reading and writing, helping students learn to think critically, speak clearly, and express themselves with accuracy and confidence. In an age shaped by social media and AI, I feel it is especially important for children to have strong literacy skills. The ability to use language well is essential not only for academic success, but also for wielding the power of language with thoughtfulness and social responsibility. Challenger upholds very high standards for classroom behavior. While the homework load increases in the higher grades, my daughter sometimes finds it challenging to balance with extracurricular activities, but overall it remains manageable. Over the years, my daughter has formed lasting friendships here and cultivated a strong sense of self-reliance, which is at the heart of Challenger's values. Thank you, Challenger.
