Extended Classes

During Extended Classtime, students enjoy quiet table games, art and craft activities, classical music, PE games, and reading or story time. The afternoon session also includes a brief recess, the opportunity to complete homework, and a time to eat a snack brought from home.

Various enrichment classes on topics such as chess, art, dance, foreign language, and sports may also be available during Extended Classtime. These classes extend and reinforce Challenger’s curriculum and values.

K–8th Students may either enroll in Extended Classtime or join on a drop-in basis. They can arrive as early as 7 a.m. and leave as late as 6 p.m. To ensure safety and supervision, parents sign in students upon arrival and sign them out before leaving campus.

All-Day Preschool students do not need extended class time because the cost of the program includes it.
