Strawberry Park

Our family loves Challenger School in Strawberry Park. We've been here since pre-K, and the teachers are all very caring, constantly encouraging the students and boosting their confidence. This year, we were fortunate to have Mrs. Taggarsi and Mrs. Datta as our child's teachers. Both teachers are very dedicated and responsible, actively communicating with parents when children encounter difficulties in their studies and finding ways to help them. They also carefully correct children's homework and provide the correct answers, leading to rapid progress in our child's learning. With the help of Mrs. Taggarsi and Mrs. Datta, our child has become even more enthusiastic about learning and exploring. Our child looks forward to seeing them at school every day. They have been very helpful in our child's growth, and our child is very happy at school every day. I am very grateful to them! The other teachers and staff at the school are also very friendly; they always greet us warmly when we drop off and pick up our child. I wanted everyone to know about this school, so I'm sharing my experience.

This is a long-overdue recognition for the amazing Mrs. Mittal and Mrs. Bhattacharyya. Whenever I am at the school they make an effort to greet me so kindly and also provide a quick update of how my child is performing. This personal touch really shows how much they deeply care about the success of their students as well as keeping us busy parents up to date on their progress. My child consistently mentions how happy they are in their new school, feeling safe as well as academically supported by their favorite teachers, who create such a positive learning environment. In addition to the great teachers, the professionalism displayed by both the director and secretary during the admissions process is top-notch: During my time with Mrs. Hiller I could tell she is truly passionate about the school and the students - her knowledge of the curriculum and programs offered for enrollment really exemplified her as a subject matter expert. She was honest and transparent about the requirements during the admission process; you could tell they only recruit the best and set the right expectations of what is required academically. Last but not least of honorable mentions, a fan favorite of the school to both parents and staff alike is Mrs. Lemos. This woman ensures that everything is running smoothly behind the scenes, she is the point person for every request/question - Mrs. Lemos is quite literally the backbone of this school! All in all I am very satisfied with choosing Challenger as a top rated school, especially focused on my child's academic needs. My family is so grateful to be part of the Challenger community and I can only hope more families get the chance to help elevate their child's learning through their advanced curriculum.

Incredible education and character building. My son graduated from Challenger Strawberry Park this spring after eight years with the program. He's now at Bellarmine (got in to all his high schools, BTW) and finding it a very comfortable fit, academically and socially. Challenger contributed a lot to his development as a person, and looking back now at the arc of the whole experience, I conclude it is all that one could hope for. Not a single complaint about a single teacher -- they are all top-notch -- knowledgeable, exemplary, and caring. The new headmaster is wonderful and I appreciate what she is doing for the program and kids. Important work. Highly recommend.

Ms. Smitha is a fantastic teacher! My son attended the half-day Pre-K program and absolutely loved it. The program itself is well-structured and very helpful—it gave him a strong foundation and made the transition to kindergarten smooth and successful.

My son attended the half-day Pre-K program here and loved it so much! Before coming, he had never been to daycare or preschool and didn’t speak any English, so we were a bit nervous at first. But the teachers — especially Ms. Smitha were incredibly caring, patient, and encouraging, helping him adjust quickly and making him feel safe and happy every day. Over the year, he learned so much — not only academically, but also in English, social skills, and confidence. This fall he will be moving on to Kindergarten, and while we’re excited for the next chapter, he will truly miss his teachers and this wonderful school. We’re so grateful for everything they’ve done for him！
