Challenger fifth through eighth-grade students participate in the American Mathematics Competition 8 (AMC 8) test each year. A small number of students received the Honor Roll of Distinction commendation in the 2021–2022 school year for scoring in the top 1% of all AMC 8 test takers nation-wide. Not only did eighth-grader Anna D. (Ardenwood, CA) receive the Honor Roll of Distinction commendation, she also achieved a perfect score of 25 on the test!
