Challenger fifth through eighth-grade students participate in the American Mathematics Competition 8 (AMC 8) test each year. A small number of students received the Honor Roll of Distinction commendation in the 2024–2025 school year for scoring in the top 1% of all 2025 AMC 8 test takers nation-wide. Not only did fifth-grader Nina L. (Ardenwood, CA) receive the Honor Roll of Distinction commendation on this test geared toward eighth graders, she also achieved a perfect score of 25 on the test! Achieving a perfect score is impressive on its own but even more remarkable given how young she is. Great work, Nina!
