My 3-year-old son started Challenger Preschool with almost no English and significant separation anxiety. He is also a highly sensitive child, so I was honestly very worried. I had heard that Challenger was a very structured school, and I wasn't sure if he would be able to adjust. To my surprise, everything went much better than I ever expected. By his third day, he walked into school without crying and even took naps there. That was something I never imagined would happen so quickly. Over the past six weeks, he has come home happy every single day. He is always excited to show us the artwork, drawings, and classroom projects he made. It's obvious that he enjoys his time at school and feels proud of what he accomplishes. The biggest surprise has been his English. Before starting school, he couldn't speak any English at all. I wasn't expecting a three-year-old to make so much progress in such a short time, but now he comes home pointing out letters, telling me their sounds, and sharing words that start with different letters. Watching his excitement about learning has been incredible. I also want to mention that the teachers (Miss Sonali and Miss Hema) are much warmer and more caring than I had expected. Although Challenger has a reputation for being strict, our experience has been that the teachers are patient, gentle, and attentive to the children's emotions while still maintaining a well-structured classroom. On the days I picked him up early, I saw happy children engaged in activities, and the classroom had such a positive and joyful atmosphere. A special thank you to Miss Sonali and Miss Hema. Your kindness, patience, encouragement, and dedication helped my son feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. As first-time parents sending our child to an English-speaking preschool, we were naturally anxious, but you made this transition so much easier than we could have imagined. We are truly grateful to have had such a wonderful preschool experience. I would highly recommend Challenger to any family, especially those who are worried about sending a child who doesn't speak English. Children are often much more capable than we realize, especially when they have caring teachers like these.

Started sending my 3 yr old boy to the 1.5 month summer pre-school to get ready for the Aug pre-school as we stayed really close in the Berryessa area. There had been a lot of feedbacks and playground talks among parents that Challenger had a very strict culture and tough curriculum that not every kid can handle and adapt. The feedback is that usually boys that have high energy and too active will get into trouble a lot. To our surprise, he loves the school just after 1 week and always looking forward to going to school in the morning, we also see a big difference in his English speaking ability and his independence in behavior. We are assured to let him continue with this school for the next coming years. We want to give special thanks to the 2 teachers Miss Hemanth and Miss Sonali for their loving care and coaching, we can tell he is very happy with them and there is the strong teachers-students chemistry we observed. Kids usually are very pure and express directly what they feel so we are very assured when he nods and say he likes his teachers and wants to go to school. From what I see so far, I believe Challenger has a very strong track records and is well managed across all their schools to groom the students to be academically strong and independent character especially needed in the competitive Bay Area. No wonder Challenger had been listed as one of the top private schools in US.

Our child is currently enrolled in the pre-kindergarten summer program. The school has meticulously planned the schedule to ensure our child is well-prepared for kindergarten. Each day includes activities such as reading, penmanship, and art. Ms. Preeti and Ms. Prerana are incredibly supportive. Our child is learning a great deal while also enjoying the experience.

We started at Challenger School - Berryessa with our son two years ago, and he'll be moving on to Kindergarten later this year. From the outset, we loved everything about this school: the atmosphere, the teachers, and the office staff. It provides the right environment for young minds, with a great balance of academics, arts, music, and sports. Since joining, we've seen consistent progress in our son's academics. Kudos to his Pre-K teachers, Mrs. Prerna and Mrs. Preeti, who laid a strong foundation in phonics, blending, and math. We really appreciate how they nurture the kids in their care. One thing that stood out most for us was the regular, thoughtful feedback from his teachers. As parents, it gives us real peace of mind knowing our son is in such good hands. We highly recommend this school!

My daughter had a great time at challenger preschool class with Miss Shivani and Miss Sonali. Starting at the 3s class when she was 3.5 years old, she was not comfortable with her English. when the academic year ended, she can confidently speak in English, count to 100, knows a lot of stuff, can read three letter words etc. More than academics she loves being there and loves her teachers and friends. The teachers are also very caring and supportive. Thanks for a wonderful year
